Omori has long flourished through fishing industries such as seaweed cultivation, and today its waterfront area remains closely connected to a diverse range of industries. This project aims to create a space that evokes the identity of the local community and nurtures the dreams of children and the hopes of its residents by expressing Omori’s “sea” and the “sky,” symbolized by nearby Haneda Airport, through environmental graphics and a floor color scheme.

Environmental graphic panels depicting the “sea” and “sky” through perforated patterns were installed on the walls of the entrance, which serves as the starting point of the building, as well as in the lobbies and foyers on each floor where people gather.
The changing shades of blue, extending from the depths of the sea to the sky above, are also applied to the walls as the color scheme for each floor. This creates a continuous visual connection throughout the building while enhancing wayfinding and helping users intuitively identify each floor.
